Ideacom® Health Plan
The Ideacom® Health Plan is offered exclusively to member companies of Ideacom — an association of telephone and data equipment resellers. The Ideacom Health Plan has nine benefit options to choose from. Members may elect to offer a dual option benefit to their employees by choosing two of the nine benefit options. This allows employers to offer a lower benefit at a lower cost while offering a richer benefit as an employee choice. Also, renewals are typically lower when claims are combined with other companies in the association. For example, renewals for January 1, 2008 averaged just a 4.8%.
The Insurance Carrier for the Ideacom® Health Plan is United Medical Resources. The primary physician network is Private Healthcare Systems (PHCS).
